Toohnii Binaneestˀąˀ Ałtaasˀéí Alliance (ToohBAA) is an Indigenous women-led organization revitalizing idle Diné farmlands to support Indigenous farmers and advance food sovereignty across the Navajo Nation. We train and organize farmers to grow culturally significant crops and value-added products, aggregate and prepare produce, and expand market access to schools, hospitals, and local institutions. By increasing farm productivity and farmer participation, ToohBAA strengthens community self-sufficiency, improves access to healthy foods, and ensures long-term stewardship of land and water resources while building a resilient Indigenous-led food system.
