2025 Grantee

Salt City Harvest Farm Inc.

Salt City Harvest Farm Inc.
Salt City Harvest Farm Inc. (SCHF) supports refugee, immigrant, BIPOC, and beginning farmers in Central New York by helping them grow culturally significant crops and build pathways to land, livelihood, and community. This planning grant will enable SCHF to design a farmer-led cooperative model and an institutional procurement roadmap, aligning production with local hospitals, schools, and other institutions. By collectively coordinating crop planning, infrastructure, and market readiness, SCHF aims to expand equitable access to culturally relevant foods, strengthen local food systems, and create long-term economic opportunities for diverse small-scale farmers, building a more inclusive and sustainable regional food supply.
