2025 Grantee

Pueblo Unido CDC

Pueblo Unido CDC (PUCDC) is developing El Milagro Farms ECV, a community-owned agricultural social enterprise that anchors production, aggregation, and distribution in the Eastern Coachella Valley. The organization supports local small farmers by providing land, training, infrastructure, and access to institutional buyers such as school districts and healthcare institutions, ensuring that revenue and decision-making remain within the community. PUCDC integrates regenerative and climate-smart farming practices with cooperative governance and social enterprise principles, creating pathways for long-term economic prosperity, food security, and local control. By connecting farmers, institutions, and community stakeholders, PUCDC demonstrates a replicable model for community-driven, culturally grounded, and resilient food systems.
