2025 Grantee

No More Empty Pots

No More Empty Pots will expand and scale equitable good food purchasing for the Omaha metropolitan area by increasing procurement from BIPOC, Indigenous, and refugee producers while providing targeted technical assistance to support their growth and by launching processing and co-packing services at our facilities in North Omaha. This work will strengthen the regional food system by making it more inclusive, culturally representative, and community-driven. NMEP will invest in the necessary equipment and staffing to become productive co-packers in order to serve the needs of our current institutional buyers who are demanding processed products.
