2025 Grantee

Los Angeles Food Policy Council

Los Angeles Food Policy Council works to create a more just, sustainable, and resilient food system across Los Angeles County through policy change, coalition-building, and institutional reform. This project has two intertwined goals which include expand GFPP adoption to at least 2 additional Los Angeles-based institutions, such as hospitals, school districts, and universities.Additionally, we will develop and pilot a “Values-Based Supply Chain Procurement Model” that aligns local food hubs and aggregators with GFPP principles – creating a cohesive approach to procurement, business development, and capital access for regional food enterprises.
