2024 Grantee

Hmong Association of Washington

The Hmong Association of Washington (HAW), in collaboration with the Northwest Agricultural Business Center (NABC) and the Washington Hmong Farmers’ Cooperative (WHFC), is seeking to support the growth of Hmong farmers in Washington by facilitating their access to institutional food procurement markets. This planning process will help Hmong farmers expand their operations, create detailed project plans, and remove barriers to institutional procurement, including technical assistance for financial projections and partnership development. Through this initiative, HAW aims to enhance the sustainability of the region’s Hmong farming community, diversify markets, and ensure that Hmong-grown produce is widely available, benefiting both farmers and underserved communities.
