Co-op Dayton works to build a just and democratic local economy by supporting worker-owned cooperatives and community-led enterprise in Dayton, Ohio. Through technical assistance, capital coordination, and ecosystem-building, the project strengthens cooperative food and goods supply chains that create quality jobs, retain wealth locally, and expand ownership opportunities for Black, Brown, and low-income residents. Co-op Dayton’s work positions cooperatives as a core strategy for economic resilience, racial equity, and long-term community stability.
