Black Farmers United–New York State (BFU-NYS), is a statewide coalition advancing economic justice, land access, and market opportunities for Black farmers. Through collective organizing, policy advocacy, and procurement planning, BFU-NYS works to remove structural barriers and expand equitable participation in institutional and wholesale markets. The organization’s work strengthens Black farmer leadership, builds collective power, and supports long-term viability for Black-led agricultural enterprises across New York State.
