2023 Grantee

Agri-Cultura Network and La Cosecha CSA

La Cosecha CSA is working in partnership with Agri-Cultura Cooperative Network — a Native / Indigenous farmer-led cooperative — to support and strengthen farmer capacity while providing nutritional education and food access. Their work looks to create a more equitable food system in New Mexico by creating a platform for procurement and distribution, linking small scale producers to investments from large institutions such as healthcare systems, senior nutrition sites, early childhood centers, and public education departments.

Support from GROWING JUSTICE will enable La Cosecha CSA / Agri-Cultura Cooperative Network to expand their value-added production capacity by scaling the growth of shelf-stable products and their value chains, increasing specialty crops sales, and expanding sales and extending consumption of healthy food year-round.
